About Humza Malik

Born and raised in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Humza Malik has grown up with a deep passion for film and TV. This passion eventually drove him to study film at De Montfort University in Leicester, where he completed his masters in International Film Production in 2023. During his time at university, Humza has written six scripts, including a feature length film script, and been involved in producing several short films as a crew member, editor and director. Humza is a huge fan of the esteemed director Christopher Nolan, crediting his Dark Knight Trilogy as the inspiration for his deep love of the DC Comics franchise. There is nothing Humza loves more than watching anime, playing Star Wars games and engaging with all types of nerdy content.
