Demon Slayer fans have it bad for one very bad man.

The third season of Demon Slayer recently ended with a 70-minute epic finale titled "A Connected Bond: Daybreak and First Light." The last episode wrapped up the "Swordsmith Village" arc with a major revelation about Nezuko being the first and currently only demon to survive the sunlight. Upon scouring through Hantengu's memories and witnessing the miracle through there, Muzan's shirt tears off as he morphs from his disguise as a child to his shirtless adult form, revealing a face that has fans falling over themselves to simp over.

Demon Slayer Fans Thirst Over Muzan

Muzan stans and newly converted Muzan fans flooded social media platforms when the episode aired. One fan compared the anime scene with the anime adaptation, with many complimenting the anime's direction of making anime Muzan "hotter" and "SO FINE" as the anime added a shirtless scene of the demon. The addition made one fan "SO DAMN THIRSTY." Another one offered themselves to the progenitor of all demons, who slaughtered hundreds of people, including Tanjiro's family, coyly writing, "muzan, the blue spider lily is inside me."

Animated and produced by ufotable, Demon Slayer aired the first episode of Season 3 on April 9, 2023. The first episode, "Someone's Dream" featured a one-hour debut where protagonist Tanjiro Kamado made his way to the Swordsmith Village to seek his swordsmith out to help forge a new sword after he broke his last one in Season 2. Meanwhile, Muzan gathers the remaining demons from his Twelve Kizuki to launch another attack on the demon slayers, dispatching Hantengu and Gyokko to the village.

Following the end of Season 3, Demon Slayer announced an anime television sequel, adapting the "Hashira Training" arc. A promotional video released, displaying beautiful key visuals of the Hashira, highlighting Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima, Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro and Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa. No details around the premiere date have been announced.
