Steel and Penguin's new "Dawn of DC" series begin, a Titan gets murdered, Wonder Woman and Flash celebrate milestone issues and more in DC Comics' solicitations for June 2023.

The publisher's yearlong "Dawn of DC" storytelling initiative continues in full swing throughout June with new series like Steelworks and The Penguin. The former is written by Star Trek and Superman: The Animated Series' Michael Dorn and follows John Henry Irons/Steel and his niece Natasha as they try to bring Metropolis into a new age. Tom King, Stefano Gaudiano and Scorpio Steele's The Penguin, meanwhile, picks back up with Oswald Cobblepot after his recent "death" in Chip Zdarsky and Jorge Jiménez's Batman run.

Elsewhere, the second issue of Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott's new Titans series is teasing a major death. The solicitation teases the Titans are about to find "one of their own" dead while Scott's cover shows Nightwing, Starfire, Cyborg and Donna Troy all kneeling all over a body, meaning either Beast Boy, Flash or Raven could be on the chopping block.

Wonder Woman and the Flash are also both celebrating their 800th issue milestones in June. Each oversized anniversary issue comes from a bevy of artists and writers who previously worked on the character's respective titles, including Mark Waid, Geoff Johns, Scott Kolins and more for The Flash and Becky Cloonan, Joelle Jones, Todd Nauck and more for Wonder Woman. Additionally, both issues will begin to setting the stage for Diana Prince and Wally West's upcoming "Dawn of DC" reboots.
