The daughter of the Ox-King and princess of Fire Mountain comes to life in a hilarious Dragon Ball cosplay.

Uploaded on Reddit by Usatame, the Chi-Chi costume recreates the martial artist's blue-and-red dress and sees her wielding a spoon in an intimidating manner; likely, she is trying to threaten her husband, Dragon Ball protagonist Son Goku, into being a better and more present father to their children. Usatame has crafted impressive cosplays for other notable anime/manga fan favorites like Haru from BEASTARS, Ai Ohto from Wonder Egg Priority and Power from Chainsaw Man.

Dragon Ball Fans' Epic Cosplays

Chi-Chi isn't the only character from Akira Toriyama's best-selling classic manga who continues to ignite fans' imaginations. Other recent cosplays include a thrift-shop version of Master Roshi that accurately reflects the old man's perverted nature and an interpretation of Bulma Briefs that reimagines the scientist as a bunny girl. Moreover, the Prince of All Saiyans, Vegeta, received a feminine makeover in an epic, genderswapped Dragon Ball cosplay.

Dragon Ball Movies Coming to Crunchyroll

Fans of Toriyama's work have more to be excited about than just fan-made content, like cosplay. For example, several of the tie-in movies in the Dragon Ball multimedia franchise can now be streamed on Crunchyroll. This includes Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge and Dragon Ball Z: Return of Cooler, which both focus on Goku's confrontation with Frieza's older brother, and Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13, which sees the food- and battle-obsessed Saiyan face off against a new group of deadly and dangerous androids.

On June 29, Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan, Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming and Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly will hit the streaming service, and on July 6, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the highest-grossing movie in the franchise so far, will appear on the platform. The latter serves as a soft reboot of the titular character's backstory and characterization. Taking place after Frieza teams up with Goku, Vegeta and comrades to fight in the Tournament of Power, the film sees Broly at the behest of the intergalactic tyrant throw down with the two rivals-turned-friends.

Moreover, Chikashi Kubota, the animation director of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, has expressed his desire to reboot the franchise. He has reportedly shared his thoughts with Toei Animation, but at the time of writing, it is unknown if the studio has any interest in the idea.

Toriyama's manga is distributed in North America, and some of the anime adaptations are also available to stream on Crunchyroll.
