Photos from the set of Andor Season 2 seemingly confirm the series will return to one of the most beloved planets which made its debut in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

Originally posted to Reddit, the images show off Hever Castle in England, which is widely recognized as the real-world location used to shoot Naboo, the home planet of Padmé, which played a significant part in the Prequel Trilogy. The original poster also notes that their father asked the production about the filming and was reportedly told that the crew was setting up for scenes set on the aforementioned planet. At the time of writing, Lucasfilm has yet to acknowledge the images as accurate so a grain of salt is recommended.

At the time of writing, there are precious few details on the second season of Andor but filming is currently underway. The first Season 1 came as a surprise to many Star Wars fans, many of whom were pessimistic about the show's potential. Despite this, it earned rave reviews from critics and went on to be one of the franchise's most beloved projects. Season 2 will reportedly retain the strong character writing and intrigue fans have come to expect from the Diego Luna-led series but still aims to switch some things up to keep the storyline fresh.

Andor Changes With the Times

One such change is the shifting timeline as Season 2 will take place over a number of years with each annum spanning a three-episode arc. "I think the excitement of using every three episodes to jump a year drives the piece and drives the narrative in a way that is super exciting and deeply compelling," explained star Genevieve O'Reilly, who will reprise her role as Mon Mothma. "And it's been interesting to be a part of last season and this season and see the difference. And in that storytelling, just in the structure of how you tell a story."
