The following contains spoilers for The Flash, in theaters now.

One of the highlights of The Flash is easily Supergirl, who makes her DC Cinematic Universe debut in the movie. Played by Sasha Calle, the Maiden of Might's DCEU appearance is likely her one and only. Due to the circumstances of DC's movies, the impending reboot could see every major hero recast. Nevertheless, there's a chance for the actress to fly to another major blockbuster franchise in the midst of its own finale.

The Fast & Furious movies have continued to be popular at the box office, and even though the series is winding down, it's pulling out all the stops with its cast. Plus, given that the next movie in the series involves one of the writers of The Flash, bringing in Sasha Calle as part of Dominic Toretto's family would make perfect sense. Here's how the actress can trade a cape for a car in the final installment of the Fast Saga.

Supergirl Was One of the Best Elements of The Flash

Sashe Calle's Supergirl takes flight in The Flash

Before the events of The Flash, the DC Extended Universe didn't have a Supergirl. During the movie, Barry Allen changes the timeline, and the result is much different for the Kryptonian species. General Zod was alive, and in this universe, had killed Kal-El as a baby, and his new mission was to draw the Kryptonian codex from the DNA of his surviving cousin, Kara Zor-El. Upon being freed from captivity, Supergirl has little interest in saving humanity. Upon realizing the kindness showcased by Barry Allen and the threat of Zod, however, she allies herself with him and vows vengeance against the Last General of Krypton.

From the power on display to her emotional performance, Sasha Calle's enraged Supergirl is a force to be reckoned with. Essentially a more primal take on Henry Cavill's Superman, this Supergirl is driven by a fierce desire to see Zod defeated, no matter the cost. Unfortunately, this debut is also likely the character's only real appearance given the state of the DC Extended Universe. The connected movie canon is being dropped in favor of James Gunn's reboot, with the movie Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow part of its first phase.

Given that Superman himself is being rebooted and recast in the movie Superman: Legacy, Supergirl will probably be given the same treatment. Even though Sasha Calle wants to reprise the role, it simply doesn't fit with the scope of the DCU going forward. Thankfully, there's another movie franchise that keeps adding stars, and given Calle's own breakout role as Supergirl, she definitely fits that category.

Fast X: Part 2 Is Perfect for The Flash's Sasha Calle

Still from Fast X featuring Vin Diesel

Adding Sasha Calle to the already stuffed roster of the sequel to Fast X isn't exactly an unprecedented idea. After all, Jason Momoa already played the flamboyant villain Dante Reyes in the most recent movie, with said film also bringing back another DCEU star -- Gal Gadot -- to play Gisele Yashar once more. Daniela Melchior from The Suicide Squad portrays a character in Fast X, making the DCEU connections even stronger. That's not even mentioning Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam role, of course.

There's also the fact that Christina Hodson -- who wrote The Flash, 2020's Birds of Prey and the canceled Batgirl movie -- will be involved with the 11th Fast & Furious movie. Since the Fast Saga is now all about star power, there's no better time to bring in the actress who was one of the highlights of The Flash. The main issue would be deciding how she would fit into the movie series' finale, but that's Hodson job to decide, anyway. If nothing else, she could be a factor in the spinoff starring Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs, showing up there before transitioning into Dom's family proper in the final film.

This would be a continued glow-up for Sasha Calle, who's quickly become a fan favorite for her portrayal of Supergirl. Despite this, it's very unlikely that the actress will play Kara again, as there's simply too much baggage associated with the ultimately failed DC Extended Universe. Regardless, the Fast Saga is another big-time series that might be able to manage a more graceful exit than DC's first cinematic universe. It would be a great way for Calle to continue her climb into stardom and cement herself as a big-time Hollywood actor.
