Thor: Ragnarok star Idris Elba is bringing his turntable skills and comedic chops to Netflix in a new series premiering next month.

Netflix has debuted the first trailer for its comedy series Turn Up Charlie, which stars Elba as a down-on-his-luck DJ who lives at home. To help make ends meet, Charlie also works as a nanny, watching over a precocious child as he tries to get his own musical aspirations to take off into a full-fledged career.

Elba co-created the series, lightly poking fun at his own real-life musical side-career, with Gary Reich. The two will serve as executive producers on the series. The series was ordered by Netflix last April for a ten-episode first season.

Judging by the trailer, it is a nice transition for Elba into comedy after his starring role in the BBC thriller series Luther and his upcoming role as the main antagonist in this summer's Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Turn Up Charlie is co-created by Idris Elba, who also stars in the series with Piper Perabo, J.J. Feild and Frankie Hervey. It premieres on Netflix on March 15.
