Disney and Lucasfilm have unveiled new character posters for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Shared on Twitter, the one-sheets spotlight the three main stars of the upcoming action-adventure movie -- Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) and Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen) -- as well as several supporting characters, including Toby Jones' Basil Shaw and Antonio Banderas' Renaldo. Fans of the long-running franchise can now purchase their movie tickets for Dial of Destiny, which opens in theaters on June 30.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be set 12 years after the franchise's fourth film -- 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull -- taking place around the time of the 1969 Moon Landing. The long-awaited sequel will mark Ford's last time playing the character, with director James Mangold stating the film will have the hero confront his mortality. "It became really important to me to figure out how to make this a movie about a hero at sunset," Mangold said in November 2022. In the film, Indy comes out of retirement to join his goddaughter on a race across the world in search of the dial of destiny. Along the way, the two cross paths with Jürgen Voller, who is after the dial for its dangerous power.

Why Harrison Ford Returned for Dial of Destiny

Dial of Destiny will be Ford's fifth and final time playing the titular archeologist/professor Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones, Jr., having first appeared as the fan-favorite character in 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark. The actor previously revealed why he decided to reprise the role more than a decade after last playing the character, explaining that he had a desire to "see a completion of the character." He continued, "I wanted to see [Indiana Jones] at a later stage of his life when he’s beyond the youthful enthusiasm and capacity, and beset by age and [stifled by academia]. I wanted to see him engage on one more unexpected, unanticipated adventure."

Indiana Jones Could Continue as a TV Series

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be the last film in the franchise as Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy has stated that the company "would never make Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford." However, Kennedy recently revealed that she is open to reviving the franchise "in series television down the road, but we're not doing anything to replace Indiana Jones." She explained, "[Dial of Destiny] is it. There are five movies that Harrison Ford did. And Harrison is so specific and so unique to creating this role. We just, Steven [Spielberg] agrees, we just wouldn't do that." An Indiana Jones Disney+ series was rumored to be in development back in November 2022 but is reportedly no longer in development as Lucasfilm looks to dial back on its non-Star Wars content.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny opens in theaters on June 30.
