One of Batman’s closest friends in the comics is Superman. Fans know the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel collectively as the “world’s finest.” Superman developed a close trust with Batman that made them incredibly effective allies.

Wayne used those resources to fund his career as Batman and manufacture the various inventions he needed to improve his tactics and gear.
