MAPPA will appear on July 1 and 2 at Anime Expo. MAPPA's CEO, Manabu Otsuka, and producer Makoto Kimura will attend the July 1 panel to discuss some behind-the-scenes of the studio's first original movie Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō, Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen and original series Bucchigiri?! MAPPA will collaborate with Crunchyroll on another panel on July 2 for a "behind-the-scenes discussion of some of Studio MAPPA's most popular titles" and have not revealed which titles will be discussed.

Yuri!!! on Ice is the third original work hailing from MAPPA, the series premiering in October 2016. The series became a hit, garnering praise for its depiction of a same-sex relationship between Yuri and Victor and its portrayal of Yuri's anxiety. Following his last-place finish at the Grand Prix Final, Japanese figure skater Yuri Katsuki decides to pause his competitive career and return to his quiet little town of Hasetsu to figure out what he wants to do next. But his plans get derailed when the handsome, five-time World Champion, Russian figure skater Victor refuses to let Yuri stop skating and spontaneously offers to coach him to victory.
