Sweet Home's Not-So-Sweet Storyline

In Sweet Home, Song Kang plays Cha Hyun-soo, a suicidal high school student who moves into an apartment complex called Green Home, where the neighbors start exhibiting strange behaviors. Soon, Hyun-soo realizes people are turning into monsters that reflect their deepest and darkest desires. Following his portrayal in Season 1, the actor received a nomination for Best New Actor for Television at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Since Sweet Home, Song has appeared in other series, including Nevertheless and Forecasting Love and Weather.

Lee Jin-wook plays Pyeon Sang-wook, a man often mistook for a gangster due to his appearance and his tendency to administer harsh punishments against those who have done evil things. Prior to Sweet Home, Lee has appeared in The Time We Were Not in Love and Nine. Lee Si-young portrays former firefighter Seo Yi-kyung and is a new original character and specializes in martial arts, which fits Lee as before she became an actor, she was a former amateur boxer.
