Our Paradise will make Tappytoon their second home this June, just in time for Pride Month.
Slice-of-life school BL webcomic Our Paradise has been officially licensed in English on Tappytoon. The series originally debuted in English on WEBTOON and is currently in its second season. The entire first two seasons will premiere on June 23, rated for all ages while the first three side stories will launch on June 24. The remaining three side stories will release on a later date, on July 1. The third season is rated mature.
The Webcomic Got a Trailer to Celebrate Its Release
To celebrate the release, Tappytoon released an official animated webcomic trailer for Our Paradise, written and illustrated by greener. Set to a lilting melody, the protagonist Yang Maehwa, his face partially hidden due to the red scarf wrapped around his neck, pauses at a desk. As he ponders, he thinks back to when he used to sit in the same classroom as his unrequited love Myeong Jaewon. At the time, Maehwa never confessed to Jaewon and when the two graduated, he decided to give up on him, thinking the two would never meet again. Little did he know, he would stand face-to-face with Jaewon once again in a university classroom.
Our Paradise fans have more to celebrate other than another platform to read the series. Art and CGI animation studio Side Nine released a PV for Our Paradise, titled as Green Apple Paradise, in May, treating fans to a sneak peek of what an animated version of the series would look like. Currently, there have been no announcements of an animated release of the webcomic.
Our Paradise first premiered on WEBTOON in December 2022 and has attracted more than 4 million views. The webcomic has garnered praise from fans for the soft artwork with one fan writing, "I already know I'm going to get emotionally attached to this webtoon," as early as Episode 5. Aside from English, Our Paradise is available to read in other languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Thai, German, Spanish and French.
