After the epic conclusion of Batman Beyond: Neo-Year, DC creators Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing and Max Dunbar team up once again to continue Terry McGinnis' journey as the Caped Crusader in the upcoming series, Batman Beyond: Neo-Gothic.

Batman Beyond: Neo-Year, took place after the events of a story titled "Wake" (by Lanzing, Kelly, Dunbar, Cheng and Bidikar), from Batman: Urban Legends #7. In the story, Bruce Wayne was murdered by an A.I. called Gotham that was generated by the Bat Computer. And, as a result, his pupil Terry McGinnis swore to avenge his mentor.

In Batman Beyond: Neo-Year Terry McGinnis mourned the death of Bruce and had to bear the Batman mantle without any guidance. However, despite a rocky start, Terry ultimately defeated the evil A.I. that was controlling Neo-Gotham. And, by the end of the series, Terry established himself as Neo-Gotham's one true Batman. But, his battle in Batman Beyond: Neo-Gothic will be in Old Gotham, where Batman Beyond will have to prove himself all over again.

Batman Beyond: Neo-Gothic Will Be a Wild Ride

DC reveals that in this series "children are going missing and being swallowed by the city’s old bones. Batman Beyond will have to go underground, led by a mysterious splicer named Kyle the Catboi, to find the children and confront the city’s buried sins." The upcoming comics will also answer many burning questions such as "What happened to the green of the city? What happened to magic? And what villains never left Old Gotham?"
