"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" was victor at the five-day Thanksgiving weekend box office, raking in $75.8 million for Lionsgate -- bringing the film's total domestic gross to $198.3 million.

According to Variety, the Jennifer Lawrence-led "Hunger Games" finale was shown to 4,175 screens on Friday, and brought in $21.5 million from that day alone, along with $10.4 million from Thanksgiving day ticket sales. Despite the film's success, its debut last weekend -- at $102.7 million -- marks the lowest in the franchise, compared to "Mockingjay - Part 1," which opened with $121.9 million.

Coming in at second place this holiday weekend, Disney/Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur" is on track to make $56 million by the end if its five-day haul. The film was shown in 3,749 locations on Friday, and earned $15.6 million.

The seventh installment in the "Rocky" franchise, "Creed," finished in third place this weekend -- with Friday box office receipts totalling $11.7 million, from 3,404 locations -- and is set to finish the weekend with $42.6 million in earnings. The returns should please studios Warner Bros./MGM, considering it cost $37 million to produce the pic.

Rounding out the top five, MGM/EON/Sony's "Spectre" managed to bring in $18 million, for a fourth place finish, while Fox's "The Peanuts Movie" continued to show lasting power with $13 million, in fifth.
