The Brazilian Portuguese dub of the last scene from Spider-Man: No Way Home might have confirmed the existence of Miles Morales in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A clip of the dubbed No Way Home finale captures the final act of Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy, with Peter Parker moving into his lonely apartment. The scene includes what sounds like faint background chatter from Peter's new neighbors, wherein a woman and a man noticeably refer to someone named Miles. While none of the characters make an on-screen appearance, they can be heard repeatedly telling Miles to clean up and go to bed in a parental manner. The conversation led some fans to believe that the voices belong to Miles' parents from the original comics, Rio Morales and Jefferson Davis.

Miles was previously referenced in Spider-Man: Homecoming, wherein Peter interrogated Aaron Davis (Donald Glover) for information regarding an organization that was selling illegal alien weapons salvaged from the Battle of New York. While he did not reference Miles by name, Aaron claimed he wanted to keep the weapons out of the streets for the sake of his nephew. A deleted scene for Homecoming also notably showcased Davis on a call with Miles, with him apologizing and stating he would not be able to meet with him.

Miles Morales in the MCU

At the time of writing, Marvel Studios has yet to announce plans regarding Miles' possible debut in the MCU. However, actor Shameik Moore, who voiced the character in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, previously admitted he was interested in portraying Miles in live-action. "I feel like everyone knows I would be a great [live-action] Miles Morales," the actor said. "As I left the theater after that [Spider-Man: No Way Home] premiere, Jamie Foxx looked at me like...he knew. I think Tom Holland knows, too."

Moore further claimed Marvel Studios might still decide to pick a younger actor for the role, with the Spider-Verse star admitting he might not be the right age to portray Miles in the MCU. He continued, "It just depends on how old they want Miles to be by the time they're ready to do a live-action movie. That's the conundrum with whether or not I end up playing him."

Spider-Man: No Way Home is available to own on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
