Guest DLC characters are nothing new to fighting games, with many of them featuring characters from different franchises. Soul Calibur has featured Star Wars characters, and Mortal Kombat has had surprise guests ranging from Robocop to the Joker. And though it hasn’t been as DLC yet, Street Fighter has a long history of collaboration with Marvel.

While Capcom is now famous for its Marvel Vs. Capcom franchise, few gamers remember that it started out as X-Men Vs. Street Fighter. Despite these crossovers, Marvel characters have yet to appear in a Street Fighter game as guest DLC. With Street Fighter 6 shaping up to be a huge success, many Marvel fans would like to see their favorite characters step into the ring as DLC.

10 Miles Morales

Miles Morales has never appeared in a Capcom fighting game, which is a shame. More than just a copy of Spider-Man, Miles has unique powers like invisibility and venom strike that would grant him a unique move-set. Even without them, Miles has a style all his own that sets him apart from Peter.

With the excellent Insomniac games and Spider-Verse movies, it’s never been a better time to be a Miles Morales fan. Capcom could easily capitalize on Miles’ popularity by making him a DLC character in Street Fighter 6. Even those unfamiliar with Miles are sure to be taken in by his awesome design and incredible powers.

9 Storm

Storm might not be what many people first think of when they hear the term “fighting game character,” but she’s squared off against Street Fighter characters before. Using her ability to manipulate the weather in surprising ways, Storm has been able to go toe-to-toe with some of Capcom’s deadliest fighters.

Storm has always been one of the most popular members of the X-Men, and many fans would love to play as her in Street Fighter 6. With her ability to call down lightning, create massive gusts of wind, and all sorts of other weather, Storm is not hurting for methods of dealing damage. She would fit in perfectly with Street Fighter 6’s roster.

8 The Hulk

With his massive size and overwhelming strength, the Hulk seems like a natural fit for any kind of fighting game. Indeed, the Hulk has appeared in almost every Capcom crossover fighting game. Every time he does, his incredible strength and surprising array of ranged attacks make him a popular choice.

In the event that Capcom does allow Marvel characters into Street Fighter 6 as guest DLC, the Hulk would be a natural choice. Aside from being a popular Marvel character, he’s a popular character in Capcom fighting games, meaning that his move-set won’t require too much tweaking.

7 Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel hasn’t appeared in any of Capcom’s fighting games yet, but her unique powers would make her an excellent addition. Ms. Marvel has the ability to stretch and grow different parts of her body, the most obvious application are her giant fists. This would help her stand out among Street Fighter 6’s eclectic cast.

With Kamala's popularity both in and out of comics, making her fighting game debut in Street Fighter 6 would be a natural decision. Her powers would allow for an extremely creative move-set, and bring some new blood to Capcom’s roster of Marvel characters.

6 Wolverine

Arguably the most popular X-Men character, Wolverine has appeared in almost all of Capcom’s fighting games involving Marvel characters. His razor-sharp claws, ferocity, and speed make him a popular choice. With his relentless and damaging combos, Wolverine is an absolute menace in the ring.

With Wolverine already being a popular character in Capcom’s fighting games, he could be brought into Street Fighter 6 with very little effort. Even non-Marvel fans would be interested in playing as a living hurricane of slicing claws. His combat potential combined with his innate popularity are sure to make him a successful DLC.

5 Spider-Man

With how popular Spider-Man is even to non-comic fans, it would raise eyebrows if Street Fighter 6 had Marvel DLC characters and he wasn’t present. Even if he wasn’t already a popular choice in Marvel Vs. Capcom, Spider-Man’s striking appearance and incredible abilities make him a perfect choice for Street Fighter 6’s art style.

4 Gamora

Gamora From Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite

The cast of Street Fighter certainly isn’t hurting for assassins, but few of them have the moniker “deadliest woman in the galaxy.” Gamora made her fighting game debut in Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite, and she made an impression despite that game’s mixed reception. Using both guns and a massive sword, Gamora was a threat at any distance.

Her use of weapons will surely help her stand out in a cast that mostly relies on its fists. Even if Capcom mandates she fight barehanded, Gamora is deadly enough that she could still have a unique move-set without her swords. With her increasing popularity and unique appearance, Gamora would stand out among the regular humans in Street Fighter 6’s cast.

3 Iron Man

2 Captain Marvel

Her photon blasts would be right at home with the fireballs and energy attacks the series is known for. Not to mention her colorful, striking appearance and flashy attacks would suit SF6’s art style perfectly.

1 Captain America

Captain America has appeared in every Marvel Vs. Capcom game and is considered an essential member of their rosters. Getting as much mileage out of his shield in the games as he does in the comics, Cap can use it to attack from a distance, close gaps, and deliver some hard-hitting attacks.

Captain America is nearly synonymous with Marvel, so any Marvel DLC that Street Fighter 6 gets should include him by default. His special attacks like “Charging Star” are nearly as iconic as Ryu’s, and many a Marvel Vs. Capcom fan would love to be able to use them in Street Fighter 6.
