A new ad for Amazon's The Boys teases fans with a joke about Homelander's unhealthy love for milk.

The Vought International Twitter account recently posted a faux advert for a brand of milk known as Vought Fresh Farms Double Whole Milk, celebrating "World Milk Day." This post features a picture of the 'product' that includes an image of the villainous Homelander on the carton, with a cow in the background and a tall glass of milk next to it. According to the post, this milk is 7 percent, going far higher than the 3.5 percent mark of traditional whole milk.

The tweet also comes with a satirical caption to accompany the fake product, with the opening line stating, "Americans are sick of woke nut milk ruining their mornings." This goes hand-in-hand with the metanarrative the show is running with Vought International, poking fun at the language used by companies to advertise products to certain demographics. Additionally, the word "yummers" is also featured on the carton. This is a direct reference to the time Homelander infamously shamed A-Train for drinking a milkshake in Season 3.

Homelander's Love for Milk

Homelander, played by Antony Starr, is presented in The Boys as the ultimate anti-superhero. He distills the idea of patriotism and moral absolutism to the public but is an egomaniacal sociopath behind the scenes. One of Homelander's most disturbing characteristics is his obsession with drinking breast milk, which many connect to his lack of maternal affection after being raised in a lab. The character concluded Season 3 by killing a member of the public after they threw something at his son Ryan, potentially setting up the events of Season 4.

The Boys is infamous for its viral marketing that delivers in-universe social media posts from its villainous company. One of the most recent stunts pulled by the account was to 'debunk' the fate of Black Noir in response to a user who questioned the character's current state. Additionally, they recently released a fake reveal that their Tucker Carlson parody character, Cameron Coleman, had signed a new deal with the company.

Season 3 of the hit anti-superhero series ended in July 2022 before announcing it would return for its fourth installment. The upcoming chapter will feature Jeffrey Dean Morgan in an as-yet undisclosed role. There is no set release window for The Boys Season 4 at the time of writing but the series is confirmed to have wrapped production.
