While fans are still wondering if Soldier Boy will return for The Boys Season 4, Jensen Ackles is far more confident in reprising his role.

Speaking to Awards Radar, the fan-favorite actor responded to speculation that his villainous supe-out-of-time will be back to plague both The Seven and the titular vigilantes. "I'm not allowed to give anything out, but we'll just say that Soldier Boy is not dead. Thank God." How this will translate in Season 4 remains unknown at the time of writing.
