Superman & Lois is currently in its third season. Rumors of Superman & Lois' potential cancellation have been circulating, but no announcement has yet been made. Reports also exist about the series potentially moving to streaming service Max, formerly known as HBO Max.

Gotham Knights' inaugural season premiered in March. Reactions to the new series have been mixed, although has done well on HBO Max. Critical and viewer reaction to the show have also resulted in rumors of its cancellation. As with Superman & Lois, however, nothing has been confirmed by the network.

Recent Fates of The CW Series, Including the Arrowverse

Unlike The Flash, the aforementioned shows are not officially part of The CW's Arrowverse continuity. The Flash is in its ninth and final season on The CW. Other Arrowverse series, like DC's Legends of Tomorrow, ended last year after seven seasons. The Arrowverse's Supergirl wrapped up its sixth and final season the previous year.

Another CW series, Stargirl, also aired on The CW for three seasons and ended last year. That series focused on Courtney Whitmore’s Stargirl character and her adoptive family. The show also introduced both the original and current incarnations of the Justice Society of America.

Superman & Lois centers on the titular married couple living in Smallville and raising their twin teenage sons, Jon and Jordan. Tyler Hoechlin's Superman was first introduced in Season 2 of Supergirl in 2016. Hoechlin also played one of three incarnations of the Man of Steel in the Arrowverse crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths" in 2019. Lois Lane is played by Elizabeth Tulloch. The series has also introduced characters such as John Henry Irons and Bruno Mannheim. Michael Cudlitz's Lex Luthor is also slated to appear on the show.

Gotham Knights takes place in a world where Bruce Wayne/Batman has died. Members of the extended Batman family, however, have risen to take his place. The series features, among others, Navia Robinson as Robin/Carrie Kelly, Fallon Smythe as Harper Row and Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown. The show's villains include Duela Dent and the Court of Owls.

Superman & Lois and Gotham Knights air Tuesdays on The CW.
