Marvel's upcoming "Fall of X" event will include new Dark X-Men, Uncanny Spider-Man titles, along with several others.

Marvel revealed a new "Fall of X" promotional image created by Bryan Hitch and colored by Alex Sinclair at MegaCon Orlando on April 2023. The image sees Charles Xavier kneeling down in a field of seemingly dead mutants, including Cyclops, Colossus, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Wolverine and many more. The image includes a list of series encompassed by "Fall of X," some of which have either previously been announced or already started their respective runs -- X-Men, Wolverine, Invincible Iron Man, Uncanny Avengers, X-Men Red, X-Force and Immortal X-Men -- while other titles such as Astonishing Iceman, Children of the Vault, Dark X-Men, Realm of X, Alpha Flight and Uncanny Spider-Man appear to be new series launching soon. Creative teams and further details have not yet been announced.

A teaser for Marvel's 2023 Fall of X event list out the titles it will encompass, including Uncanny Avengers and more.

"Fall of X," which was announced at New York Comic-Con in 2022, could potentially bring about the end of mutantkind's Krakoan age. "The X-Men hoped Krakoa would last forever," the publisher previously teased. "Time to find out if they were right." The major X-Men event kicks off on July 26, 2023, with X-Men: Hellfire Gala #1 by Gerry Duggan, Kris Anka, Joshua Cassara, Russell Dauterman, Adam Kubert, Pepe Larraz, R.B. Silva, Luciano Vecchio and more. May 6, 2023's Free Comic Book Day: Avengers/X-Men #1 by Duggan, Jonathan Hickman, Cassara, Javier Garrón and Valerio Schiti will also include lead-in stories to the Hellfire Gala and the debut of a new Uncanny Avengers team whose roster includes Captain America/Steve Rogers, Rogue, Deadpool, Quicksilver, Psylocke and Penance. The new Uncanny Avengers series from Duggan and Garrón then launches on Aug. 16, 2023.

X-Force Gets a New Leader for “Fall of X”

Marvel also revealed new cover art created by Daniel Acuña for X-Force #43, which releases on Aug. 23, 2023, from writer Benjamin Percy and artist Robert Gill. The cover reveals Colossus/Piotr Rasputin has become the new leader of the titular team after he and Laura Kinney/Wolverine are welcomed into its ranks in April 19, 2023's X-Force #39.

"X-Force needs a Wolverine, and if Logan is walking away, they desperately need someone to take his place," Percy previously told CBR about Wolverine and Colossus' involvement in X-Force. "The thing is, Laura isn't interested. The Chronicler and Mikhail are about to become a huge problem for Krakoa, and Colossus is caught up in the middle of this design."
