The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the massively popular sequel to the 2017 Game of the Year Breath of the Wild, is packed with content for players to enjoy. There is certainly something new around every corner, including quaint towns, mysterious dungeons, shrines, and stables, and players are likely to be kept busy in Hyrule for some time.

In Tears of the Kingdom, stables function as a place where Link can board, retrieve, and customize horses, rest until the next day, pick up side quests like those involved in the "Potential Princess Sightings" quest line for the Lucky Clover Gazette, and even find nearby Great Fairies. They also serve as a location where players can find Beedle, a traveling merchant who is willing to pay extra for valuable gems. Needless to say, stables are an important part of Tears of the Kingdom's world, so players will want to find as many as possible.

How Many Stables Are There in Tears of the Kingdom?

There are 16 stables in Tears of the Kingdom. Each time you visit one and speak to the stable master, you'll receive one Pony Point, so discovering every one of them is highly beneficial if you're seeking to earn every Pony Point reward. Once you discover a stable, look for a shrine nearby and touch the glyph in front of it to open it. These shrines will act as a fast-travel point for when you desire to return to a stable. The shrines near stables can sometimes be found in rather obscure places, so search high and low for them before you leave.
